Marvel's Wolverine is Insomniac Games' follow-up to its Marvel's Spider-Man series, built around Logan's healing factor, claws, and a story the studio has pitched as more violent and mature than its previous superhero games.

The cover art was created in collaboration with comic artist Jock, best known for illustrating all 15 issues of the 2012 Wolverine Max series — a rougher, more expressive visual identity than Insomniac's earlier Marvel titles.

Insomniac has said the game leans into Wolverine's darker comic-book history rather than a more family-friendly cinematic tone, positioning it as a tonal departure within its Marvel lineup.

It's a PS5 console exclusive, continuing Sony and Insomniac's run of Marvel-licensed titles alongside the Spider-Man series and Marvel's Wolverine's own previously teased connections to that shared game universe.
