Silent Hill f is a new mainline entry in Konami's Silent Hill series, and the first to move the setting away from the American town of Silent Hill itself to a fictional town in 1960s Japan.
It keeps the series' psychological-horror foundation — a fog-shrouded setting, symbolic monster design, and a story built around a protagonist's internal trauma — while introducing a new cast and cultural backdrop.
The 1960s Japanese setting is a deliberate departure meant to broaden the series beyond its original American small-town horror roots, developed with a Japanese writer and art director leading the project.
It's available across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, part of Konami's broader push to revive the Silent Hill franchise alongside the Silent Hill 2 remake.
