Redeeming a PSN code takes under two minutes once you know where the option is hiding. Here's every current method in one place.

Method 1: On your PS5

  1. From the PS5 home screen, go to the PlayStation Store icon.
  2. Scroll down the store menu and select "Redeem Codes."
  3. Enter the 12-digit code exactly as printed, then confirm.

Method 2: PlayStation App and web

  1. Open the PlayStation App or store.playstation.com and sign in.
  2. Select "Redeem Code" from the menu.
  3. Enter the code and confirm — funds are added to your wallet right away.

If the code doesn't work

  • Double-check the region — this is the #1 cause of failed redemptions. See our region lock guide.
  • Re-enter the code carefully — 0 (zero) and O, or 1 (one) and I, are easy to mix up.
  • If everything matches and it still fails, contact whoever sold you the card before contacting PlayStation Support directly.
